Join the Mardi Gras Galveston celebration!
Galveston, Texas hosts the third largest Mardi Gras! They plan to throw over 3 million beads! 3 MILLION BEADS! The fun doesn’t stop there. Literally, the fun does not stop! It’s full fledged entertainment with parades, music, dancing, feasting, and family fun events from February 10-21, 2023.
Get ready to RUN, ROCK, RIDE, and RELAX. Wait, relax? (I’ll get to that part later.)
Jump Ahead To
RUN
Start the party off with the 11th annual Jolly Jester Jaunt 5K. Even it you aren’t a runner it might be worth lacing up the shoes and warming up those muscles because registration includes general admission to Mardi Gras and balcony party access! Woowoo!
ROCK
Balcony Parties give you a VIP view of all the Mardi Gras parades plus a cash bar and music entertainment.
The Budweiser Stage and the Electric Mardi Gras Stage are the places to be to get immersed in concerts and dance your heart out.
RIDE
Parades, Parades, Parades! Watch the multiple Mardi Gras parades from a balcony party, street level, or literally join the fun and buy a ticket to ride! A ticket to ride allows you and your party to ride on a float! How cool is that?
MARDI GRAS FAMILY FUN
The family fun is happening February 19th with the Shriners Hospitals for Children and Sunshine Kids Parade, Krewe of Barkus and Meoux Parade, and the Mardi Gras Children’s Parade. Don’t forget about the coloring contest which could give you the chance to ride on a float, attend a Family Gras! balcony party, and be in the Galveston Daily News.
and now time to RELAX
All of that sounds like an absolute blast but if you are like me then you are also thinking about how exhausting it all sounds. All the people, all the congestion, all the traffic, all the noise. Here’s where the relaxing part comes in.
Play in Galveston, TX and stay in Crystal Beach, TX.
Escape all the crowds to your own oasis at Breckie Beach House where you can unwind, relax, and hear yourself think again. Once recharged, head back out for some more fun or stay on the beach a little while longer.
